MTV Asia Awards will be held at Genting Arena of Stars today.. And I won't be going!! *Cries*

I did however, win the tickets for the viewing party at Genting International Showroom and I was suppose to collect the tickets between Monday to Thursday but the flu bug has hit me (possibly due to the rain during Daughtry's Street Concert) and I haven't been well since..

*Cough* Cough*

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to watch it on Astro tonight, wrapped in my blanket with a cool pad on my forehead lols!

I MET DAUGHTRY IN PERSON!!!

And it wasn't because of the meet & greet session! He so happened to be queuing up at Burger King in 1 Utama old wing!

At first, we didn't wanna believe it was him for 3 obvious reasons: (1) He was in disguise plus we never expected him to be urm.. short... (2) He was out without bodyguards, queuing up for burgers and (3) Nobody was approaching him!

Then we sorta followed him back to the hotel when my friend caught up with him and asked:

"Hi, are you Daughtry?"

The reply?

"Yes, I'm CHRIS!"

LOLS!

We were entertained the first 3 hours by our local artists including our Malaysian Idol Daniel Lee, Sayla, and a couple of others before Daughtry blew us away an hour before midnight!

Truth be told, our local artists have improved a lot and they have come a long way! Kudos! But unfortunately, like typical Malaysians, the crowd was unresponsive and restless like they couldn't give two hoots about our local singers..

But then again, it could have been due to the pouring rain and lack of umbrellas!

The crew members of Hitz.FM too played their part by feeding the hungry crowd with freebies like CDs and posters. Moots and Natalie MC-ed the event well! Bravo! (Though Moots kept picking out lucky draw tickets starting with the no. 1, it was still all good~!)

When Daughtry finally took the stage at about 11pm, everyone went wild! Old and young alike!

After concert camwhoring session (No cameras allowed *cries*)

When I first heard "When I Grow Up" by PCD on the radio, I was surprised the censorship board allowed the word "b**bies" lols! It did sound right after all.. saying you wanna grow up and have the only extra layer of protruding fat that girls do not complain about unless it's too small! *Grins* So ok, at least I know now it's "groupies" haha!

Speaking of censoring words, I'm still wondering what's the big deal with censoring "a girl" in Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl".. I mean c'mon~ don't tell me that can stir up hormonal ambiguities! Besides, isn't it time to show the rainbow community some respect? It's their right after all so who are we to tell them they need ironing? Besides, censoring "a girl" doesn't make much difference coz the rest of the lyrics blatantly spell that out!

This is just a matter of opinion.. But maybe... It's time to change! (with Digi... lols)

Oh darn~! I called Hitz.FM to ask if there's any policy or rule against me trying my luck for the MTV Asia Awards mosh pit tickets after winning Daughtry tickets yesterday. According to Jin, there's a 30-day policy whereby I am not allowed to win anything for the next month!! And.. He said he remembers me.. *Eyes wide open* Lols! I wonder if that's a good or bad thing XD

No matter.. I really, really LOVE Daughtry!! But there's no denying.. Jared Leto is HOT!! Even when he acted as Hephaestion in Alexander alongside the very, very gorgeous Colin Ferrell, he was still hot! *Grins* It would have been great seeing him up close.. but well..

*CRIES* Why aren't the tickets on sale???

Lols! Greedy lil' me.. But that's what happens when all your favorite stars come at one go.. and when the tickets cannot be bought! I guess it's true that money doesn't always buy happiness.. *Sniffles* But YAY! I still can't wait to catch DAUGHTRY!! I wonder if i'll be able to meet them in person..

I suddenly feel like playing paintball... Go figure! *Shrug*

Am I greedy for wanting MTV Asia Awards tickets as well? LOLS! It's rather dissapointing that these tickets aren't for sale! Thank goodness for HITZ.FM!

Speaking of which, I'm uber glad I won the Daughtry tickets on the same day I found out my ex-bf whom I have trouble getting over has already gotten over me and all that we were before means nothing to him!

So winning those tickets was like.. having a mountain full of soft cushy pillows to break my fall~! And instead of bursting into tears, the counter impact was "the *tooooot* with whatzizface!" So thank you, HITZ.FM! (And Jin of course)

BTW, I haven't received any calls from Hitz.FM regarding my details and stuff.. Maybe later today? I'm just scared I gave the wrong number! Haha!

I think I'll try my luck again later today on another announcer's shift.. I still feel pretty bad for practically screaming in Jin's ear! I'd love to win them on Natalie or Ean's shift! *Crossing fingers, toes, and eyes*
